Founded in 2024 by a small group of gamers and streamers, Shift Lab PCs started with nothing more than a shared passion, a few tools, and a cramped workspace in New Jersey. We don't have big investors or a flashy studio. Just a clear goal: to make quality gaming and streaming setups accessible to more people.
We’ve been through the early struggles. Working with underpowered gear, trying to launch streams with limited resources, and wishing there was a simpler way to get started. That’s what drove us to create Shift Lab.
We specialize in affordable, custom-built PCs that are designed to perform without breaking the bank. For most of our builds, we charge a flat $200 fee. Most of that goes toward safely packing and shipping your rig right to your door. Every build is assembled and tested by hand, with the same care and attention we’d put into our own setups.
To help creators beyond the hardware, we also launched The Vault, a growing collection of streaming tools, overlays, presets, and gear recommendations to help you build your brand and your confidence.
We're still operating out of that small space in New Jersey, and we’re proud of it. Every setup we send out is a reminder that you don’t need a big operation to make a big impact. Just the right mindset and a commitment to quality.

Joe D. - Owner/Founder
Hi, I'm Joe, a passionate builder, lifelong gamer, and relentless problem solver. I was born and raised in Philadelphia and eventually moved to South Jersey when I was young.
From a young age, I was always taking things apart just to figure out how they worked, and most of the time, I managed to put them back together (give or take a few extra screws). That curiosity and hands-on drive led me into construction right after high school. I started out as a union carpenter, working with drywall, scaffolding, and concrete high-rises, and eventually found my place in Surveying. These days I help shape skylines with precision equipment and a sharp eye for detail.
But construction is just part of the story. Gaming has been a lifelong passion of mine, starting with a Game Boy and evolving through every console since. What began as a hobby turned into a mission to create a space where tech, gaming, and creativity collide.
Anxiety has always been a factor in my life, holding me back from my constant flow of dreams and ideas. But now I'm doing everything I can to make this dream a reality. Everything you see here was built by me. No outsourcing, no agency. So, if you spot something a little rough around the edges, just know it was made with heart and a whole lot of late nights. Thank you to everyone who’s supported me. It truly means the world.
When I'm not on a job site or working on my next idea, I'm usually streaming, sharing my journey, and building a community from the ground up. With a deep love for gaming & tech and a work ethic shaped by years in the field, I’m focused on turning this vision into something meaningful and giving back to the community that’s been with me every step of the way.
